who will use it and enjoy it on a regular basis. I have owned the car for 1 year. I have always wanted one, bought one, loved the experience but am just not using it enough! I have travelled about 600 miles in my year of ownership and well over 300 of those miles was to go to the servicing garage to get the service book stamped and get the bonnet catch repaired! I bought the car from the previous owner with some stone chipping as a result of some debris falling of a vehicle in front causing the very minor damage. The windscreen was also cracked by the debris but this was replaced by the previous owners insurance company. The car has been recorded as a category D vehicle. I have included 5 photographs which show the damage when I bought the car. The bonnet has been repainted and the car looks absolutely stunning. The remaining photographs are of the car after the repairs to the chips and scratches. The damage was really minimal. The round(ish) stonechip was about the size of a 20p coin. The other scratches and nicks were small and very slight. I would recommend that you come and have a look to see how wonderful the car is. It looks amazing and was originally £180,000 when new!! The car has a really low mileage of 31,000 miles supported by an excellent service history. When I bought the car I had the car fully serviced including the cambelts changed and that was just over 600 miles ago. Nothing to worry about there. As I said in the title this car has the electronically adjustable diffuser which is a rare option on these cars. The tyres are all matching PZero pirellis that look virtually new which again is a great sign of a well looked after Ferrari. The interior which is beautifully made from leather and aluminium looks absolutely lovely. I do not think you will find a nicer one. All in all we have a lovely 456 GTA for an amazingly low price. I have decided to list the car as a classified with a price of £21,950. If you compare this to other cars you will see this represents a considerable saving on similar cars with higher mileage and probably not in as good condition outside and in. I am looking to sell the car after a year of real pleasure. If you want to call me to view or discuss anything to do with the car then my number is 07977 098487. it is the targa version and a real head turner in Giallo Fly Yellow. Right Hand Drive with manual gear box plus black and yellow leather seats. MOT`d until March 2013 so still 10 months remaining. Current milage 35000 and done less than 3000 miles in the last 3 years with me only doing 500 miles in it last year. New stainless steel exhaust fitted last Autumn also new CATS and sensors. New clutch fitted less than 1000 miles ago. Shown as a cat D in 1999 (yes 13 years ago!!), with fire damage, fully repaired immediatly with Certiface of inspection from 1999 showing Very Good standard of repair with no signs of damage found. It is a 1979 Ferrari 400 Convertible. Our car is finished in Metallic Blue with Blue/Cream Leather interior. It has covered 67,000 miles from new and has an MOT until May 2012. It was converted by Banham and has a very nicely fitted mohair hood. The Ferrari 365GT4/400GT/400i and 412 were all based on the same Pinifarina designed body and shared the same, quad cam, V12 engine. The model first appeared in 1972 and remained in production until the late 1980`s, giving it the longest production run in Ferrari history. The 365GTC4 continued until 1976 when it was replaced by the 400GT. Both of these models were only available in manual form but in 400 form you could specify an automatic, which was a first for Ferrari. The Pininfarina design was never offered in convertible form, by the factory, but a few coachbuilders carried out conversions, which were very successful. Offered here is a 1979 400 Convertible, which is complete with a history file containing service invoices and previous MoT certificates. The car is in an average condition with Blue Chiaro coachwork, a new navy blue mohair hood and duo-tone, blue and magnolia hide. The car is equipped with the 4823cc, quad-cam V12 engine and GM400 automatic transmission. I TOOK THIS CAR IN PART EXCHANGE FROM A VERY GOOD FRIEND WHEN HE BOUGHT MY LAMBORGHINI .I HAD OWNED THE CAR FOR LESS THAN 24 HOURS WHEN TOOTLING ALONG A SUNNY COUNTRY LANE AT LESS THAN 40MPH SOMEONE BLINDED BY THE SUN PULLED OUT ON ME IN HIS VOLVO.THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT OF MY BUMPER MET HIS BUMPER RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE HEADLAMP SIDELAMP AND INDICATOR OIL TANK AND FIBRE GLASS WHEEL ARCH LINER .MINOR DAMAGE TO PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL ARCH PART OF THE BONNET ANY OTHER CAR 2 DAYS WOULD FIX IT.BUT PARTS WERE SLOW COMING FROM FERRARI IVE OBTAINED EVERYTHING I THINK THAT WAS NEEDED APART FROM THE PASSAENGER SIDE SPOTLIGHT SIDE LIGHT INDICATOR UNIT.IVE HAD IT ON ORDER SINCE OCTOBER BUT STILL NO SIGN OF IT. FED UP OF WAITING SO I THOUGHT [ AIR BAGS DID NOT EVEN GO OFF] I WOULD TEST THE WATERS,SEE IF ANYONE FANCYS A CHEEP FERRARI .THE CAR IS STILL MOTd UNTIL SEPTEMBER BUT AS I SAY HAS NO SIDE LAMP OR INDICATOR OTHERWISE YOU COULD TAX IT AND DRIVE IT HOME.NO WINDOWS WERE BROKEN NOR WAS THERE ANY SUSPENSION DAMAGE IT HAD FRESH OIL AND FILTERS WHEN THE NEW OIL TANK WAS FITTED...THE INSUREANCE COMPANY DECIDED TO PAY OUT ON THE CAR DESPITE MY OBJECTIONS [ITS A NICE CAR PREVIOUS CELEBRITY OWNER ECT] SO THEY HAVE MADE IT A CAT D [THEY SAID PARTS VERTUALY UNOBTAINABLE SO DIDNT WANT THE HASSLE] I BOUGHT IT BACK FROM THEM BUT FROM MY EFFORTS TO GET HOLD OF THIS LIGHT UNIT THEY MAY BE CORRECT... YOU COULD EASILY FIT A PAIR OF LIGHTS FROM SOMETHING ELSE ,BUT I WANTED TO KEEP IT ORIGINAL.NOW..I THINK MY ASKING PRICE IS VERY FAIR,I WILL TAKE A FAIRLY VALUED PART EXCHANGE EITHER CASH YOUR WAY OR MINE,I WILL EVEN CONSIDER A SWAP.
